Privacy policy for the “KopfKino” app

This is a translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

1. General information

Place2Start Studio takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. The “KopfKino” app is designed so that it does not collect, store or share any personal data. The controller is Tizian Brink, Place2Start Studio, Thüringer Straße 25, 58640 Iserlohn, Germany (see legal notice).

2. Camera access

The app requests access to your device's camera. This access is used exclusively on your device to scan the QR codes on the KopfKino cards. No photos, videos or other image data are ever recorded, stored or transmitted to our servers or third parties.

3. Internet connection & audio playback

When a valid QR code is scanned, the app connects to the internet to download and play the corresponding audio file (MP3) from our servers (Cloudflare). Your IP address is transmitted to the server, which is technically necessary to deliver the file. These logs are not used for tracking or personalised advertising.

4. Analytics and advertising

The app uses no tracking tools (such as Google Analytics), no ad networks and creates no user profiles.
